Designs today require virtually unlimited inputs thus they no longer are or can be one `master`s sketch. Likewise, they cannot be a computer technician’s product, as conventionally aged designers may be scared of. It’s rather a very complex product created by a group of collaborators.

O-CDC is a design+research collaboration specialized in design-computing. O-CDC collaborates with architects, designers and engineers to work on aspiring projects in specific fields of design. These fields include but are not limited to architectural and/or interior design competitions and/or projects, installations and exhibitions.

Design computing, including parametric modeling, scripting and digital visualization, is enabling the designers to move onto a larger ground of innovation. With fully customizable and controllable analytical design systems, it’s also drawing a clearer and much easier path to complex-geometry-construction. In contemporary practice, design model as well as the design idea, is becoming a flexible entity that can be generated, manipulated and re-organized as a product of highly customizable and controllable interconnected parts.
