Onur Yüce Gün is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),  Department of Architecture where he got his Master of Science Degree in Design Computation. Prior to his departure to States,  he got his B.Arch degree at Middle East Technical University (METU) as the top of the class.

Onur initiated and directed the Computational Geometry Group of Kohn Pedersen Fox New York, and worked on more than 40 projects of the firm between 2006 and 2009. He concentrated on development of methods and tools for design-build concerns of complex-geometry skyscrapers around the world.

Besides professional practice, he was always involved in teaching. Towards the end of his 3 year position at Pratt Institute in New York, he become the Coordinator of the Digital Futures Group at School of Architecture. He taught in several graduate and undergraduate design studios in collaboration with several professors, and taught computational design methods and techniques. He was an invited instructor and critic at institutes including Harvard GSD, Columbia University and University of Pennsylvania. He conducted and taught various workshops in Europe and US.
Onur got published and won prizes  in renowned conferences like eCAADe, ACADIA, IASS and presented his work in cities like London, San Francisco, Frankfurt, Munich, Istanbul and New York. His work was exhibited in several exhibitions in Venice, France, Tokyo and Los Angeles (SIGGRAPH).

Onur decided to move and settle down in Istanbul. While teaching at Istanbul Bilgi University, he's currently concentrating on collaborative projects within his Computational Design Collaboration laboratory: O-CDC.
